Flashnode has now reached a total of two million euros in funding, as the Finnish software company prepares to scale up operations in Finland and expand internationally.
The current funding round for Flashnode is led by Spintop Ventures. The funding will be used towards market entry in the UK and expanding the company’s partnership network - writes goodnewsfinland.
“They have identified a major customer need and Flashnode is strongly positioned to capitalise on a very significant market opportunity,” comments partner and co-founder of Spintop Ventures, Finn Persson, in a press release.
Flashnode provides accessible software integration for small to medium sized businesses using a ‘Software-as-a-service’ (SaaS) delivery model.
“We’ve been building SaaS software with integration needs since 2001 and realised a true need for simplifying the integrations market,” says Flashnode founder and CEO, Lennu Keinänen. “We started building the Flashnode platform in 2013 and have spent over 10 man years in understanding the complexity and developing a system that can handle it.”
“Companies are wasting 6.5 billion US dollars on handling processes manually, and now that SaaS based accounting is reaching mainstream popularity, the need for solving the problem is obvious,” Keinänen adds.
