In Helsinki, a woman born in 1964, suspected of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances, was detained due to the eyewitnesses reports.
According to the Finnish police, the crime was committed on June 26. The suspect and her victim - a 73-year-old man — had vague connection, and, as the woman confessed, their meeting on the eve of the bloody event was a matter of chance. Having met in the Kallio area, they went to the apartment where the man lived. There the robber smashed her acquaintance and took possession of his property.
The police, however, do not hurry to say what was the motive of the crime.
The suspect admitted her guilt. On Thursday, July 6, the court will consider a petition for her arrest.
