New road signs appeared in Finland - "the use of drones is forbidden"
Finland Transport Agency Trafi has decided to introduce zones in the country, where unmanned aerial vehicles are prohibited. In addition to nuclear power plants, oil refineries and important government buildings, almost the entire historical center of Helsinki and two metropolitan districts - Munkkinemi and Meilahti - were included in the list of zones which are forbidden for drones.
Almost the whole center of Helsinki is closed for the drones flights. In addition, it is forbidden to fly closer than 5 km to airports. Separately agreed flights in the Naantali presidential residence area (near the city of Turku).
The new signs became one of the city's sights straight away.
