The festival "Small Breweries - Great Beer" (Suuret oluet - pienet panimot) is held in the Finnish capital from 26th to 29th July.
Breweries from Finland, Germany and Estonia will present their products at Rautatientori Square near Helsinki Train Station. You can try the foamy drink from noon until 01:00. The entrance until 18:00 will be free for visitors, later ticket will cost 10 euros.
Some participants of the festival will continue their work at the same place on July 30. You can visit them from 12:00 to 18:00. In addition to different sorts of craft beer, the festival will offer cider and lemonade, as well as dishes from Finnish products. In the eveningsthere will be live music on the square.
In 2016, the festival was named the best tourist event in Finland. Last summer it was held in Helsinki, Tampere, Lahti and Jyväskylä. In 2016, in these four cities, the event was visited by 44 thousand people, more than 50 thousand liters of beer were drunk.
