Finnair extends service in Norway

Finnair is opening new routes between Helsinki and the Norwegian cities of Bergen and Tromsø in co-operation with Wideroe.

Finnair will open the routes in May 2018, which will connect the regions in Norway with Finnair’s extensive Asian network and European destinations - writes goodnewsfinland.com.

Wideroe will operate the routes, while Finnair will sell and market the flights. The service between Helsinki and Bergen will take place on a daily basis as of 15 May 2018, while the direct flight to Tromsø will take place every Saturday.

“The Nordics are attracting more and more travelers, and we believe our Asian customers will appreciate these additions to our extensive network,” says Juha Järvinen, chief commercial officer for Finnair. “The new flights also offer our customers in Norway new connections to our network of 19 Asian cities and 100 European destinations via our Helsinki hub.”

Finnair is rapidly expanding its flight service globally in time for summer 2018.
