Finnish material handling specialist Raumaster has delivered a comprehensive cleantech solution to China and also secured a 20 million-euro order in Finland.
Finnish Raumaster continues strong growth
Raumaster delivered the cleantech material handling system to Zibo Green New Energy’s Waste to Energy power plant in the Shandong Province in China. The value of the order has not been disclosed - writes goodnewsfinland.com.
The 145 MW power plant produces electricity and heat from 350 000 tonnes of waste every year, which places additional importance on effective material handling due to the variable nature of waste as an energy source.
“In the comprehensive cleantech solution delivered to China, a high level of operational reliability has been reached through technical solutions regardless of the large processing quantities,” says Raumaster CEO,John Bergman.
Around 70 per cent of Raumaster’s revenue come from exports and the company is currently enjoying rapid growth, especially in Asia.
Closer to home, Raumaster also recently secured a 20 million euro order from Lahti Energia in Finland. The substantial order concerns fuel handling systems for Lahti Energia’s bio power plant in Kymijärvi.
