Finnish digital engineering company Nitor continues to expand in the Nordics with its first Swedish business unit and an office in Stockholm.
Nitor offers digitalisation services including design, program development, consultation and training with growing customer bases in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. Last year the company grew its revenue by 42 per cent, and this year it is expected to exceed 20 million euros - writes goodnewsfinland.com.
Nitor has been expanding in the Nordics for some years. In Sweden, its current customers are primarily in the retail and finance industries.
“Economic growth is strong in Sweden, especially in the Stockholm region,” says Nitor’s CEOMatti Vilmi. “The programming industry is also growing in every direction, which increases the demand of sustainable digital development.”
The operations in Sweden have been activated by transferring employees to Stockholm, but the plan is to further expand the business in the future by bringing local experts to the team.
